Peter Cilella is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and actor with two decades of experience both in front of and behind the camera.

Peter made his directorial debut with OCCUPANT, a short film produced by Rustic Films and financed by Gunpowder & Sky. The film premiered at Fantastic Fest in 2018 and is currently streaming on the DUST channel on YouTube. His feature directorial debut, DESCENDENT—which he also wrote—will have its world premiere at SXSW in 2025.

As a screenwriter, Peter has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Patriot) and Raman Hui (Shrek the Third, Monster Hunt).

In May 2023, Peter launched ONE MORE STORY!, a podcast featuring improvised bedtime stories for kids and exhausted parents.
